摘要

Abstract

A high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission system additional frequency controller is designed based on incomplete differential PID control principle, which uses the DC bilateral frequency to be the input signal, with the advantage of being easy to access, stable, reliable and good control effect. The controller can adjust HVDC power instructions according to the frequency changes. When a fault occurs and causes the system frequency to rise or fall to action frequency, HVDC will increase or decrease power from another side of the system to make the frequency stable. The time-domain simulation by PSCAD/EMTDC verifies the effectiveness of the controller.
