摘要

Abstract

Objective To observe the frequency of karyotype and AZF microdeletion on Y chromosome in azoospermia patients, and to explore the diagnostic methods. Methods G display-zone technique, Multi-PCR technology and ELISA method were used to test chromosomes karyotype. AZF genes and sex hormones in 96 azoospermia and 40 controls, respec tively. TESA/PESA were displayed to determine obstructive azoospermia. Results There were 27 cases with chromosome disorder in azoospermia patients and 2 cases in 40 controls. 7 cases with AZF microdeletion were found in azoospermia pa tients , include 5 AZFc, 1 case AZFb + c and 1 case AZFa + b + c, none in controls. PESA/TESA were performed in 42 cases in azoospermia patients, 26 cases were diagnosed to be obstructive azoospermia( OA) , others were non-obstructive azoospermia{ NOA) , the levels of FSH and LH in OA were higher than those in NOA groupf P < 0. 01) , while T was lower (P <0.01). Conclusions Chromosome abnormalities and AZF microdeletion play an important role in azoospermia pa tients, genetics and semen hormone tests will provide important reference for treatment.
