摘要

Abstract

Studied optimization problems of sequencing for an actual mixed model passenger car factory assembly line by applying genetic algorithm. The optimization objective is the least total waiting time of vehicle to complete assembly. The optimal sequen-cing solution is obtained under the environment of the AutoMod simulation software and by using genetic algorithm optimization. The objective value is reduced by 69.5% ,and it improves production efficiency greatly. This also proves the effectiveness of ge-netic algorithm.
