摘要

Abstract

To apply ISO 14649 for automotive industry, STEP transmitting programs in manufacturing process is studied. The method of developing a remote database is proposed. Firstly,STEP and STEP-NC programs are studied. Then,the architecture of remote database based on STEP under the B/S model is discussed in detail. In addition, the technique of transmitting and storing STEP programs for long distance is successfully developed. Finally,the proposed methodology and algorithms are verified by a rod which is a automotive engine part.
