摘要

Abstract

Owing to its poor water resistance, the application of SrAl2O4: Eu2+, Dy3+ phosphors is limited seriously. In this paper, a rapid combustion method was introduced into the surface treatment of SrAl2O4: Eu2+, Dy + phosphors. X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, photolu-minescence spectrophotometry and pH measurements were employed to characterize the treated and untreated phosphors. Experimental results showed that a compact layer was coated on the surface of SrAl2O4: Eu2+, Dy3 + phosphors, which effectively improved the water resistance of phosphors.
