摘要

Abstract

In order to study the inherent mechanism of particle flow in silos, paniculate discharging for a coal silo was simulated by using distinct element software particle flow code. The mobility of particles in the silo, varieties of individual particle's displacement and velocity were observed. Both static and dynamic pressure were measured, and the changes of pressure on the plane of the hopper were also measured. The results showed that the particles gathered to the axis of silo during flowing, and the particles flowed out earlier on axis than others on the same leveL The dynamic lateral pressure was greater than that of the static, therefore, the dynamic vertical pressure in the hopper was less than that of the static.
