摘要

Abstract

The casting process of ductile iron pipeline with high impact strength and high toughness at low temperature was presented. Through reasonable graphite spheroidizing treatment and inoculation, the structure with fine spheroid graphite and high percent of spheroidization was obtained. The feederless casting of pipeline was realized by intensive cooling on the heavy section by using of chill, and making full use of self-feeding of graphitization expansion. The as-cast structure of pipeline obtained satisfies the requirements of mechanical properties and low temperature impact strength of EN-GJS400-18U-LT.
