Synchronization Characteristic of Hog Production Fluctuation and Countermeasures

Abstract
By the method of synchronization coefficient, using the indicators of slaughtered fattened hogs, and this paper makes a calculation on the hog production fluctuation synchronization in China and its regions from 1980 to 2009. The results show that: (1) the mean value of synchronization coefficient between regions and the whole nation are 0.9023. And the synchronization coefficient of the Central and Southern China is the highest among the six regions, reaches to 1. (2) The synchronization coefficient between two regions is more than 0.7931. (3) Provinces and the whole nation have a strong synchronization coefficient, especially the major producing provinces is higher than other provinces. It indicates that the synchronization is strong in China, and this is a good explanation for the characteristic of hog production fluctuation. Finally, it concludes that we could stabilize the fluctuation by measures of coordinating hog production and strengthening the monitoring.关键词
