螺旋粉虱成虫消化系统的形态学与组织学研究
Morphological and Histological Studies on the Digestive System of the Adult Spiraling Whitefly, Aleurodicus dispersus Russell (Homoptera: Aleyrodidae)

Abstract
The morphological and histological structure of the digestive system of the adult Aleurodkus dispersus Russell was investigated using anatomical and histological methods. The results showed that the digestive system was consisted of foregut, filter chamber, midgul, hindgut, vasiform orifice and a pair of salivary glands. The main part of the foregul was esophagus; the midgut was composed of stomach and intestine; while the hindgut could be divided into ileum, colon and rectum with an intumescent rectal sac in the anterior segment of the rectum. A pair of kidney-shaped salivary glands was found on each side of the subesophageal ganglia. The wall of the alimentary canal of Alewodicus dispersus comprised three layers from inside to outside: mucosa, museularis and serosa. The strongest positive reaction of periodic acid Schiff staining (PAS) was observed in the stomach, and a relatively strong one was observed the intestine of the midgut, and a relatively weak one was observed in the esophagus. No positive reaction was detected in the salivary glands and the hindgut. The PAS positive reaction located in the mucosa, the cavity of the stomach and the intestine, while no PAS positive material was observed in the esophagus cavity. A significantly strong positive reaction of alcian blue staining (AB) was observed in the hindgut, while no positive AB reaction was observed in the other parts of the digestive system. The AB positive reaction located in the mucosa, and there were also weakly AB positive floccules located in the hindgut cavity. There was significantly strong alkaline phosphatase reaction in the whole salivary glands, the mucosa and the museularis of the hindgut, while the alkaline phosphatase reaction was weaker in the mucosa of the foregut and the midgut.关键词
