Effect of twice pelleting feed on growth performance in young piglets
摘要
Abstract
Two level factorial experiment of pelleting processing and feedstuffs pretreatment was conducted by using 360 piglets at weaning age of 21 day to study the effect of twice pelleting feed on growth performance in young piglets. The results showed that the treatment group of 4 piglets using twice pelleting and expanded corn and soybean meals had a significant improvement of final body weight, average daily gain, and feed efficiency among four groups during the experimental period (P<0. 05). The blood levels of urea and cortisol in group 4 was lower than those of other three treatments at the age of 42 days. These findings proved that young piglets feed processed by twice pelleting and the use of expanded com and soybean meals could decrease weaning stress and improve the growth performance.关键词
