Abstract
Objective To estimate the clinical outcomes of proximal femur intramedullary nails of InterTan in the elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric comminuted fractures. Methods 30 elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric comminuted fractures were treated with InterTan nails. Their surgical data, Harris hip score, union time and complications were retrospectively analyzed. Results Among the 30 cases, 28 patients were followed up except 2 cases 6 months after the treatment. The healing time of fractures was 2 ~ 6 months, average (2.6±0.8) months. Postoperative Harris hip score evaluation results: 10 patients had excellent results, 14 good, 3 medium and 1 poor. The excellent and good rate was 85.7%. No collapse of the neck, nocoxavara, or no implant failure was observed. Conclusion The proximal femur intramedullary nails of InterTan is the better clinical treatment for elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric comminuted fractures with high union rate and rare complications.关键词
