Outpatients' Awareness and Utilization of Community Health Services in Three Cities
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the outpatients' awareness and utilization of the community health services ( CHS ) and public health services ( PHS ) in the city of Hefei, Nanjing and Xi' an. Methods The outpatients were asked to fill out a questionnaire after visiting the CHS organizations in the three cities. Results There were significant differences in the patients ' choice of medical institution, healthcare service utilization and PHS awareness and utilization in the three cities ( P < 0. 05 ) . Conclusion The CHS in the cities mainly serve as medical institutions while their public health function is underused. The CHS organizations should launch publicity campaigns to bring PHS into the sight and access of the community.关键词
