Abstract
BACKGROUND: The pervious study has shouted that placenta mesenchymalstem cells (PMSCs) can differentiate into bone,cartilage, and muscle and adipose mesenchymalstem cells.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the differentiation of PMSCs into epidermal cellsin cells.METHODS: PMSCs were isolated and cultured and the surface antigen was detected by flow cytometry.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Isolated PMSCs mere positive for the markers CD1O5. CD29 and CD44 and negative for typicalhematopoietic and endothelial makers CD34. CMS. CD106 and HLA-DR. The morphology of induced cells mas obviouslychanged. Immunohistochemistry stain analysis showed positive for epidermal-specific makers like CK19 and CK10 The PMSCshave the capability to differentiate into epidermal cells in vitro. The placenta may prove to be a useful source of mesenchymalstem cells in skin tissue engineering and stem cells study.关键词
