Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of hypertonic saline in treating children asthmatic diseases. Methods 328 hospitalized children with wheezing in the pediatric department from January 2010 to January 2011 were randomly divided into 2 groups in accordance with the admission order. The observation group (164 cases) was given the nebulization inhalation of hypertonic saline plus salbutamol and the control group(164 cases) was given the nebulization inhalation of normal saline plus salbutamol by ultrasonic spray inhalation machine. Results Compared with the control group, the wheeze remission time in the observation group was significantly shortened (P < 0. 05), the disappearing time of pulmonary rales was significantly earlier (P < 0. 05) and the average length of stay was significantly shortened (P < 0. 05). The total effective rate in the observation group was 98.1% and obviously higher than 74.39% in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Hypertonic saline nebulization inhalation is effective to treat asthmatic disease and simple in method, which is worth promoting in clinic.关键词
