摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the levels of homocysteine( Hey )and high sensitivity C reaction protein( hsCRP )in patients with atrial fibrillation( AF ), and to explore their roles in the development of atrial fibrillation. Methods A total of 135 patients with AF were divided into paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group( n = 43 ), permanent atrial fibrillation group( n = 47 ) and persistent atrial fibrillation group( n = 45 ), and 47 patients with sinus rhythm were selected as control group. The levels of Hey and hsCRP were measured respectively by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay( ELISA )and immunoturbidimetry( ITM ). Results Compared with normal controls, the levels of Hey and hsCRP in AF patients significantly increased ( P < 0.05 ). The levels of Hey and hsCRP in patients with permanent atrial fibrillation and persistent atrial fibrillation were statistically higher than those in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation ( P <0.05 ). The levels of Hey and hsCRP in patients with persistent atrial fibrillation were higher than those in patients with permanent atrial fibrillation,but there was no significant difference ( P >0. 05 ). Conclusion The elevation of the levels of Hey and hs-CRP may promote the occurrence and persistence of AF.
