摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects and the mechanism of ecdysterone (EDS) combined with mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) on wound healing of spot scald cutis in rabbits. Methods There were 18 rabbits, each has 4 scald spots on cutis that labeled randomly into Group A , B, C , and D. Group A was blank control group , Group B was treated by EDS, Group C by MSCs, and Group D by MSCs + EDS. 18 rabbits were sacrificed to obtain the histological specimen at day 5 , 10, and 15 (each 6) after modeling. The histopathological indexes were observed and the wound healing rates were calculated. Results At day 5 after modeling, the wound healing rate of Group B was obviously higher than that of Group A (P < 0.05) , the inflammatory cell infiltration of Group B and D were lower than that of Group A (P < 0.01). At day 10 after modeling, there were no significant differences in all indexes among all groups (P > 0.05). At day 15 after modeling, the wound healing rates and histopathological scores of Group B, C , and D were obviously higher than that of Group A (P < 0.05). Conclusion EDS combined with MSCs can improve the wound healing process in rabbits.
