摘要
Abstract
The paper summarizes the main progress of Agenda 21 in the world since the World Environment and Development Conference. The paper draws the conclusions that the world has a big rise in economy and makes progress in poverty relief, urbanization and resources saving but many efforts should paid in observing the international conventions and contracts. The paper analyzed the challenges and trends the international sustainable development currently faces and points out three kinds of challenges of global sustainable development, that is, the increasing direct threats of deteriorating environment to the survival of human beings, more competition on development space and increasingly severe livelihood of people. The trends of sustainable development of the world are sustainable development converting from the idea to the action, emphasizing on green development of sustainability, newly flourishing developing countries being important power of sustainable development and competitive cooperation between international relations in sustainable fields.关键词
