摘要

Abstract

In order to obtain the hysteretic behavior, monotonic and cyclic loading experiments of high strength structural steel Q460C, including 3 monotonic tensile specimens, 3 monotonic compression specimens and 10 different cyclic loading specimens, were conducted, and the stress-strain curves of monotonic and cyclic loading were plotted and compared. Moreover the macroscopic experimental phenomena and the electron microscopic scanning results of specimen fractures were analyzed. Based on the Ramberg-Osgood model, the cyclic skeleton curves were fitted, and the corresponding formulae to calculate cyclic skeleton curves for the high strength structural steel Q460C were proposed. The differences between the skeleton curves of symmetrical cyclic loading and the stress-strain curve of monotonic loading were compared. Finally, based on the Chaboche model for steel plastic constitutive relationship, the model parameters were calibrated by the test. Then this model were applied to simulate the above cyclic loading tests by the software ABAQUS. The finite element analysis results agree well with the test results.
