Effects of Different Pretreatment Methods on Enzymatic Hydrolysis of Cotton Stalk

Abstract
Effect of the chemicals dosage of dilute sulfuric acid.sulfurous acid and sulfite pretreatment and enzymatic hydrolysis of cotton stalk was investigated. The scanning electron microscopic (SEM) analysis of untreated and treated cotton stalk was performed for comparing these methods. Under conditions of liquid ratio 1 : 4, temperature 180 °C for 20 min, cellulase 10 U/g,cellobiase 3.6 U/g compared to substrate, enzymatic hydrolysis conversion rate was 42.63% when 5.52% sulfuric acid with mass fraction of 98% for pretreating cotton stalk, enzymatic hydrolysis conversion rate was 81.25% when 7% sulfurous acid for pretreating cotton stalk, and enzymatic hydrolysis conversion rate was 70.06% when 0.92% sulfuric acid with mass fraction of 98% and 8% sodium bisulfite for pretreating cotton stalk.关键词
