Joint Estimation for Frequency and 2-D DOA in Nonuniform Noise

Abstract
In this paper, a joint estimation algorithm of frequency and two-dimensional (2-D) direction of arrival (DOA) is presented for L-shaped array. It constructs a parallel factor (PARAFAC) model by covariance matrices from different sub-arrays, and calculates frequency and 2-D DOA parameters using the bilinear alternating least square (TALS) algorithm. The main attrac tions emphasize that this method efficiently eliminates nonuniform noise, while avoids multi-dimensional searching and parameter pairing. Simulation results of root mean square error (RMSE) show the efficacy of the new method.关键词
