摘要

Abstract

Effects of Ba(OH)2 and ZnO as nickel electrode additives on the ability of charge-discharge,cycle life and the self-discharge capability of sealed cylindrical Ni-Zn battery were investigated. The discharge capacity of the Ni-Zn battery adding 1% Ba(OH)2 was 83.1 % of its initial capacity after 92 cycles, the discharge capacity represented 69.4% of its designed capacity after stored in high temperature (50℃) for 7 d. There seemed no profound effect after adding ZnO.
