Effects of Different Rootstocks on the Flood Resistance of Sweet Cherries

摘要

Abstract

[Objective]The aim was to provide scientific basis for screening waterlogging tolerance rootstocks for sweet cherry (Prunus atium L. ). [Method] The responses of photosynthesis and resistance physiology of five kinds of rootstocks (colt, benxishanying, daqingye, jian-zuihongying, laiyangaiving) were investigated by using sweet cherry 'zaodaguo' as scion and five different Chinese cherry as rootstocks; and the five different grafted seedlings' flood resistance ability were evaluated by membership function analysis. [Result] The photosynthetic rate, sto-mata conductance, the transpiration rate and the ratio of Fv/Fm were decreased rapidly in all grafted seedlings in response to flood resistance stress. The intercellular CO2 concentration, initial fluorescence, the content of H2O2 and O2- , as well as the proline content increased gradually under the stress. By using membership function analysis, the waterlogging tolerance capacities of the five cherry rootstocks were sequenced as follow; colt > benxishanying > daqingye > jianzuihongying > laiyangaiying. [Conclusion] The cherry with colt rootstock had the strongest flood resistance capacity.
