Adsorption Performance and Indexes of Activated Carbon in Water Supply Treatment
摘要
Abstract
Since nature water, in which organics are harmful to human's health, is widely used in industrial water and drinking water treatment as raw water, the process of activated carbon absorption is used to remove the organics in water treatment. In this paper the status of recent research on activated carbon absorption index was introduced. Indexes, including water treatment activated carbon absorption indexes(iodine blue and methylene blue absorption value), and four kinds of nature organics in natural water(humic acid, fulvic acid, lignin, tannins) were used to evaluate the activated carbon absorption capacity and caramel is also used. Caramel absorption is more suitable to evaluate the absorption capacity and has some advantages as index intuitive, test simple, spread easy, etc.关键词
