Application of polarization filter to the wave-fields decomposition of the ocean bottom multi-component seismic data

Abstract
The paper discussed the application of polarization filter in the wave-fields decomposition of the ocean bottom multi-component seismic data. It constructed the P wave and PS wave seismic data of a geological model. Polarization filter is applied to the geological model and a real ocean bottom multi-component seismic data. The vector plots before and after decomposition are presented for analyzing the results. PS wave of vertical Z component and P wave of radial (horizontal) R component disappear in the processing results. Polarization filter can effectively do the processing of wave-fields decomposition of the ocean bottom multi-component seismic data.关键词
