白肋烟新品种鄂烟101的选育及其特征特性
Breeding and Selection of New Burley Tobacco Variety Eyan101 and Its Characteristics

Abstract
The new buriey tobacco variety EyanlOl was obtained by cross-breeding of Ebai003 and KY8959. It was approved by National Tobacco Cultivar Registration Board (NTCRB) in March 2009. The results showed that EyanlOl was one mid-late maturity variety with a strong growth and a wider distance between two adjacent plants than other varieties. Its tobacco leaf matured layer by layer and grew yellow. As for main economic traits and smoking quality, it performed better than the contrast variety. It was equivalent to the contrast variety about the appearance quality and physical characteristics of raw tobacco leaf. It displayed harmonious internal chemical components with lower nicotine content than the contrast variety. It performed a resistance to tobacco black shank and Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV), but susceptibility to Alternaria alternate (Fries) Keissler. It was expected that EyanlOl would produce greater economic effect by making a higher yield than other varieties.关键词
