摘要

Abstract

Modified silicide was used as high temperature oxidation resistant coatings on 2nd 490 N apogee engine thruster chamber, and its thickness affected the performance of coatings obviously. The life experiment of samples with different thickness was taken at 1 700℃ , and it was found that the best range of thickness was 140 to 160 μm. Available of lower thickness of SiO2 or to much of the amount of micro cracks and holes would shorten the lifetime.
