Abstract
A novel liquid crystal (LC) based chemical sensor was prepared as follows: the sensitive films on ordinary glass slides were deposited by microcontact printing method and then modified using active locus, the copper grids were placed on sensitive films to fit liquid crystal ( E7) films. The experimental results show that E7 molecule underwent transition from a homeotropic orientation to a planar one upon exposure to organophosphate pesticides vapor;the minimum detection limit response to common organophosphate pesticides reached 0. 051 g/m3;the sensors could detect 0.114 g/m3 of DDVP over 50 times. Furthermore,this kind of sensor exhibited high selectivity and thermal adaptability, demonstrating the feasibility of using these devices in the detection and identification of positive organophosphate pesticides in environment.关键词
