Abstract
Objective:to research the therapeutic efficacy of the laparoscopy-assisted and open surgery for colon cancer. Meth-ods:The clinical data of thirty-one cases received laparoscopy-assisted resection( LCR) were compared with that of fifty-two cases received open surgery( OCR) :There was no difference in the age,gender and tumor status between the two groups. Results:The operating time was a little longer than the laparoscopy-assisted group (P= 0.452) ,but the blood loss was less (P= 0.039). Patients who underwent laparoscopic resection had faster recovery of bowel function and shorter hospital stay ( P = 0.032 ) . No significant differences in the lesion resection and lymph nodes clearance was observed between the 2 groups ( P > 0. 05). Conclusions: The laparoscopy-assisted resection for colon cancer was a kind of effective and minimally invasive technique that is safe for beginners. It has the advantages of less pain and trauma,faster postoperative recovery,and similar radical effect as open surgery.关键词
