Reflection on Eco-oriented Planning Strategies of Peri-urban Area
摘要
Abstract
Rapid urbanization is imposing great pressure on the ecological system of peri-urban areas. The paper discusses four strategies used in peri-urban plan ning, namely 1) integration of urban-rural space, 2) holistic planning of develop ment and non-development land, 3) multi-objective synthesis, and 4) balancing conservation and development. This paper also takes Weinan loess tableland as an example to illustrate these planning methods.关键词
