Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To study the biocompatibility of Ropivacaine/poly (lactide-co-glycolide) microspheres (RVP/PLGAMS) in mice in vivo. METHODS: 40 Kunming mice were randomly divide into group A and B. In group A, the sciatic nerve exposed by surgical incision, and sutured after injecting RVP; in group B, the sciatic nerve exposed by surgical incision, and implanted with RVP/PLGA-MS, then sutured (0.48 to 0.5 mg of RVP). The inflammatory reaction, exudation and healing time of operative incision were observed. One week later, body weight of mice was compared between 2 groups. Mice were sacrificed after 2 weeks. The pathological changes of major organs in group B and local tissue slice of 2 groups were observed under light microscope. RESULTS: There was no statistical difference in incision healing and body weight between 2 groups. No significant pathological changes were found in local tissue slices of 2 groups. There were no pathological changes of major organs in group B. CONCLUSION: RVP/PLGA-MS in mice has a good biocompatibility in vivo.关键词
