摘要

Abstract

[Objective] The study aimed to explore new cross breeding methods for pea. [Method ] With traditional cross breeding method and Suzongan method of pea as control methods, the breeding effect of a new cross breeding method of pea was studied. [Result]The new cross breeding method of pea was as follows: after the dew was evaporated, the detassel could be carried out in any time of day; the pollination should be carried out between 12:00 and 16:00, the nodes of pollinated cross bred flowers were covered with tags; except for the cross bred flower, all the flowers and growing points of stem tips on the cross bred branches were removed. Compared with traditional method, the working efficiency and cross-fertility rate of this new corss breeding method of pea were enhanced by more than 3 times and 33%. Compared with Suzongan method, its working efficiency and cross-fertility rate were enhanced by more than 2 times and 13%. The occurrence probability of false hybrid among filial generations of the new cross breeding method of pea was 0. [Conclusion] Compared with traditional method and Suzongan method, this new cross breeding method of pea possessed obvious advantages.
