摘要

Abstract

The harvest date and seed dehydration rate in the later developmental period of single - grain - sown five summer maize varieties were studied in 2010. The results showed as follows: the day when the black layer of the grain appeared and the ear bract was completely loose could be used as the optimum harvest date of summer maize. The average daily gain yield of 5 varieties was from 98.58 to 244.49 kg/hm2. Among the tested 5 varieties, Xianyu 335 had the lowest moisture content in the grain at harvest stage, being 19.85%. The average seed dehydration rate in the later developmental period of Denghai 662 was the biggest, which reached to 0.738% per day.
