Abstract
Concerning terrain point cloud obtained by terrestrial laser scanner generally was a large amount, contained many redundancy data, and its distributing was asymmetry, a sector division point cloud simplification was proposed. First, sectors parameters were calculated with primary defined sector radius and arc length, then each point was distributed to different sectors by their coordinates. Every point was judged by practicality requirements. The experimental result showed that the proposed arithmetic fitted the terrain point cloud character well, and the lowest-method was able to filter and simplify point cloud, and barycenter-method was able to keep the detail of original point cloud character.关键词
