Assessment on drinking water quality in Fuxin by principal component analysis method

Abstract
In order to effectively control the pollution of drinking water sources, improve the drinking water environmental quality and guarantee the sanitation of drinking water, it is very important to assess the water quality. Main indexes impacting dringking water quality were identified. Then principal component analysis was used to establish the assessment model of drinking water, which could ensure that under the condition that the primitive data information was in the smallest loss, a small number of variables were used to replace the integrated multi - dimensional variables to simplify the data structure. The weighings of principal component were determinated as their pollution ratios. Based on the theoretical study of principal component analysis , used the monitoring data on water quality of the main water resources in Fuxin in 2010, the paper evaluated and analyzed the main factors affecting water quality, the cause of pollution and the degree of pollution in Fuxin. The results showed that the main factors affecting water quality of Fosi water source were CODMn, TP and fluoride.关键词
