Abstract
Three - dimension (3D) digital map has become an important direction of map development with the high development of computer and spatial data acquisition technology. It has brought a tremendous impact on our life in the network environment. The paper described the development status and theoretical foundation of the 3D digital map, then introduced construction principle of the real and virtual 3D digital map, and pointed out the importance of the computer graphics in the building of 3D digital map. According to the current 3D digital map products, the paper provided three methods building 3D digital map, namely, CAD technology, OpenGL technology and GIS - based software technology, and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages when using them. In the end, the paper put forward the reasonable suggestions for the development and application prospect of 3D digital map.关键词
