摘要

Abstract

In this paper, the operating conditions of electrocoagulation (EC) for the treatment of oilfield wastewater were investigated. The static experimental results showed that current density and electrolysis time had a significant impact on the treatment. Current density 3.97 mA·cm-2, plate spacing 10 mm and pH 7.2 were selected as operating conditions, and after 40 min EC experiment, the oily wastewater, the initial oil content was 632 mg·L-1,had been well treated, and the oil removal rate could reach to 68.08%. The continuous experimental results showed that the oil removal rate could reach to 85.7%, and the oil concentration of effluent was 92.7 mg·L-1 under the operating conditions as follows: HRT (hydraulic retention time) 40 min, current density of EC tank 3.70 mA·cm2, current density of electro-flotation tank 3.30 mA·cm-2, initial pH 7.2, and plate spacing 10 mm.
