Abstract
Objective To study utility of Thin Prep cell test(TCT) and colposcope in screening of cervical cancer and to search for an economical and more sensitive way in screening of cervical cancer in Xinhui distict.Methods The study involved 18601 married women in Xinhui Distric who were screened in our hospital from Jan.2008 to Dec.2010,they were randomized into two groups,group A (11104 cases) were screened by TCT and colposcope,group B(7497 cases) were screened by traditional cervical-cell smears and colposcope,to compare the positive rates and the rates of conforming to the diagnosis of pathology cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) between two methods.Results In group A,6.75％ was the positive rate by using only TCT to screening,2.18％ was the rate of the diagnosis of pathology CIN and above it by using TCT and colposcope to screening,the rate of conforming to the diagnosis of pathology C IN was 81.3 ％,all the rates were remarkably higher than those screened by traditional cervical-cell smears and colposcope in group B.Conclusion TCT combined with colposcope is a more sensitive and economical method in screening of cervical cancer and CIN in Xinhui distict,it provides evidence for earlier finding,diagnosis and treatment,and for setting up preventive measurements and intervention for cervical cancer and CIN.关键词
