Comparative Analysis of Two Convective Weather Occurred on Summer in Changzhou

Abstract
The two convective weather processes occurred on June 4 and 5,2009 in Changzhou were caused by the cold air from the back of the same northeast cold vortex, but the actual weather differed greatly. Using the 1° x 1°NCEP/NCAR reanalyzed data, the conventional meteorological data and the observations of Doppler radar and automatic weather stations, they were analyzed comparatively by the circulation situation and the dynamic and thermodynamic conditions and so on. It was shown that on the same northeast cold vortex, the differences including the temperature and moisture field distributions, weather system at middle and lower levels, energy led to different weather results. It was shown that the convective weather processes corresponded with θse big value area, unstable areas, K index big value area, boundary middle-scale convergence line, mesocyclone, intensive ascending motion, good divergence field distributions, humidity big value area, strong vertical shear of both wind direction and wind speed.关键词
