摘要

Abstract

[Objective] The aim was to investigate whether NO is involved in the inhibitory effect of salicylic acid on the growth of Arabidopsis. [ Method] The endogenous NO level in roots of wild-type Arabidopsis thaliana and NahG mutant growing at 4 ℃ was measured with NO-specific probe DAF-FM DA staining method. [Result] NO level in plants growing at 4 X. For a long term could be increased with time; low temperature could induce NO production in wild-type and NahG mutants of A. Thaliana, in which the NO level in NahG mutant with low level of salicylic acid was significantly lower than that in wild-type. [Conclusion] NO was involved in the inhibitory effect of salicylic acid on the growth of Arabidopsis at low temperature.
