新疆牛梨形虫病单一与混合感染的流行病学调查
Epidemiologic Survey for Bovin piroplasmosis Caused by Single or Mixed Pathogens in Xinjiang by Three Improved Indirect ELISAs

Abstract
[ Objective and Method ] The large scale of epidemiologic surveys for detection of bovine pi-roplasmosis in Xinjiang were performed by the improved indirect MSA - 2c ELISA, HSP20 ELISA Tamsl ELISA, respectively in this study. [ Result ] The results showed that (1) 280 positive serum examples were detected from 1,340 sera collected from 14 prefectures in Xijiang during the period from the year 2006 to 2008. The total infection rate reached 20.90% (280/1340). Among them, the infection rates of bovine piro-plasmosis caused by Babesia bovis, Babesia bigemina and Theileria annulata alon were 8. 92% (23/280), 15.71% (44/280) and 43.92% (123/280) respectively; (2) the rate of mix infections among them was rising, reaching 15.35% (43/280), including some triple infections; (3) The infection rate was unexpectedly increased to 74% (37/50) in some endemic areas where the disease occurred in 2008. The mixed infections reached 35.15% (13/50) in those areas. [Conclusion]The features of bovine Theileriosis in Xinjiang were that infection rate and mixed infections were increased year by year, which made epidemic situations more complicated. The situation was growing more and more dangerous for animals and human health. This was a first epidemiological survey on a large scale for detection of bovine piroplasmosis by three improved indirect ELISA assays using recombinant proteins as diagnostic antigens in Xinjiang.关键词
