摘要

Abstract

Monitoring meters with field bus technique is greatly recommended. Because of the scan period, timer base, software complexity, the communication between PLC using free port mode and monitored meters is too difficult to accomplish. So the development of the communication processor is suggested with the AVR MCU to specifically fulfill the data sampling, checking, status diagnosis, data encapsulation etc. For the meters, then the monitoring information is transferred to PLC, so that the PLC is released from the heavy communication task, and the field bus monitoring for the meters is implemented in PLC.
