摘要

Abstract

The development of plant root systems is essential to the uptake of water and nutrients.The whole root system of a plant is composed of lateral roots with different orders.Therefore,lateral root formation is important for the development and productivity of plants.Lateral root formation is affected by phytohormones,especially auxin.In auxin transduction pathway,Aux/IAA and ARF proteins are important and play important roles in lateral root formation.Based on the researches on auxin transduction pathway in recent years around the world,the advances were reviewed in this paper.
