Abstract
To examine the toxicity and abnormality of liquid formaldehyde on reproductive cells in male mice,twenty male Kunming mice were treated with liquid formaldehyde（i.p.）for 7 days,and then testis index,sperm quantities,morphology of sperm,rates of deformation and micronucleus of sperm were investigated.The results indicated that liquid formaldehyde of middle dose group（2.0 mg/kg）and high dose group（20.0 mg/kg）had obvious toxicity on reproductive cells,the testis index and the quantities of sperm clearly decreased,so did the survival and activity rates of sperm.The deformation and micronucleus rates of middle and high dose groups increased obviously compared to the control group.The conclusion was that liquid formaldehyde had obvious toxicity and abnormality on reproduction system in male mice.关键词
