Abstract
Through analyzing concept of rural tourism, rural tourism development of Yangshou County and its achievements in the last 3 decades were summarized, advantages of the county in location, resource, industry, market and infrastructure for rural tourism development were analyzed, and problems in environment, administrative management, operation mode, information and benefit distribution were proposed. Strategies for sustainable rural tourism development of Yangshuo were discussed: more importance should be attached to protection of eco-envi-ronment and ecological effects of rural tourism in its further development; relationship among departments sorted out, tourism mechanism improved; training of service staff enhanced to improve quality of tourist services; propaganda promoted to popularize rural tourism; more tourist projects developed.关键词
