Abstract
In modern times, there is a plenty of comparative study about Chinese and the Western gardens. At the planting design aspect, the differences between classical Chinese garden-style planting techniques and the Western natural garden pruning, rule-based planting form are significant. The development course and art features were described, and combined with city parks as example, the application of Chinese and the Western garden plant configuration method in city gardens were summarized.关键词
