Abstract
[ Objective ] The aim was to study the effects of different degree shade on the growth and the photosynthetic characteristics of different seed bulb size of Cardiocrinum giganteum, discuss the mechanism of introduction and domestication of Cardiocrinum giganteum. [ Method] Cardiocrinum giganteum was treated under different shading levels ( 0, 45% ,70% ) according to its diameter grade. After treated 13 days, the plant height and leaf number were measured. At the time of treated 46 days, the photosynthetic indices such as net photosynthetic rate (Pn), transpiration rate ( Tr) , intercellular CO2 concentration (Ci) , stomatal conductance (Gs) were determined, and synchronously determined photosynthetic active radiation (PAR) and leaf temperature (TL). [ Result] Cardiocrinum giganteum had high relative growth rate, net photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate and stomatal conductance, while intercellular CO2 concentration was low in 45% shade treatment. The physiological characteristics of Cardiocrinum giganteum were generally better than full sunlight treatment in 70% shade treatment, while excessive shade made a low photosynthetic rate, and reduced his growth. In addition, the greater the size of the seed bulb,the relative even better its growth and the physiological characteristics. Therefore, in production, using the bigger size seed bulb and appropriate controlling light intensity was the important measures of introduction and domestication of Cardiocrinum giganteum. [Conclusion] The research provides a theoretical basis for the landscape application of Cardiocrinum giganteum.关键词
