摘要

Abstract

[Objective]The research aimed to analyze the effect of the polysaccharide from the magnolia leaves in different months on scavenging the hydroxyl radical ( · OH) in vivo. [Methods] With the magnolia leaves in different months as the tested materials, the polysaccharide from the magnolia leaves was obtained through the extraction, separation and purification. The ability of the polysaccharide from different months to remove the hydroxyl radical ( · OH) produced by Fenion reaction was determined by the spectrometry and was compared with the oxidation resistance of VC. [Results] The scavenging rate of the polysaccharide from the magnolia leaves in different months on the hydroxyl radical was enhanced with the increment of the polysaccharide concn. Compared with the VC , the polysaccharide from the magnolia leaves had the greater ability to remove the hydroxyl radical. The half inhibition rate IC50 of the polysaccharide from the magnolia leaves in August was 0. 08 g/L, being equivalent to the scavenging rate of 0. 12 g/L VC agaisnt the hydroxyl radicals. Under the condition of the same concn. , the polysaccharide at higher concn. From the magnolia leaves in October was higher than the VC on the antioxidation activity. [Conclusion] The polysaccharide from the magnolia leaves in different months had obvious inhibition on the hydroxyl radicals in the tested concn. Range.
