趋磁细菌磁小体合成相关蛋白的研究进展
Research Progress of Magnetosome Synthetic Associated Protein of Magnetotactic Bacteria
摘要
Abstract
Magnetotactic bacteria are a kind of Gram-negative bacteria with the capability of swimming along geomagnetic field lines, the most distinguished characteristic of the bacteria in common is capable of synthesizing unique prokaryotic organelles-magnetosomes, which are membrane-enveloped, nano-sized crystals of Fe3O4 or Fe3S4 that are aligned in well-ordered intracellular chinas,and have species-specific morphologies , sizes and arrangements. Because of the special properties of these magnetic crystals, magnetotactic bacteria have been exploited for a variety of applications in diverse disciplines from geobiology to biotechnology. In addition, magnetosomes have served as a powerful model system for the study of biomineralization and prokaryotic organelles. The proteins associated with the formation of magnetosomes have functions in vesicle formation,magnetosomal iron transport,and the control of crystallization and intracellular arrangement of magnetite particles. The proteins associated with the formation of magnetosomes are discussed especially and the future research perspectives of magnetosomes' proteins are also proposed.关键词
