Investigation and Assessment of Heavy Metal Contamination in Vegetables from a Mining Area in Guangxi
摘要
Abstract
[Objective] To investigate the content of heavy metals in vegetables from a mining area. [ Method ] Cu, Pb, Zn and Cd in vegetables of the mining area were analyzed. [ Result ] Vegetables in the mining area were contaminated mainly by Pb and Cd, among the 22 vegetable samples , the over limit rate of Lead was 63.6% , over limit rate of Cadium was 36.3% , the content of Zn was over the limit in Brassica chinensis L. And Capsella bursa-pastoris. 40% vegetables were heavily contaminated, 9.1% showed medium contamination and 22.8% were lightly contaminated. [ Conclusion] The contamination degree in Dachang Village was higher than that in Wengle Village, which was related to the environmental pollution degree, indicating that the heavy metals contamination of vegetables around the mining area was severe. Although there was no mines in Wengle Village, its vegetables were also contaminated, which might be caused by the diffusion of air particles from the mining areas of Dachang Village.关键词
