Principle Component Analysis on Land Use Change and Its Driving Forces since Chongqing become a Municipality
摘要
Abstract
With Chongqing as the example,by using land use data from Chongqing Statistical Yearbook during 1998 -2010 and indicators of various types of land, the quantity, speed of land use change were analyzed. With farmland as example, the principle component analysis was conducted. Four main driving forces for land use change were obtained, including population pressure, economic growth, urbanization process and state policy,which will provide reference for making land use planning,land protection policy and utilizing land resources,coordinating social economic development in Chongqing in the future.关键词
